Programme of Studies

1. For the acquisition of the Master’s Degree, 90 ECTS credits are required. 60 of the ECTS credits correspond to all kinds of educational activities during the two taught semesters (30 ECTS credits per semester), while the other 30 ECTS credits correspond to the Master’s thesis. For the definition of credits, the provisions of the clauses of article 14 of law 3374/2005 apply.

2. Attendance at all educational activities is mandatory and constitutes a prerequisite for the evaluation of the student.

3. Part of the Programme of Studies, or even the entire Programme, can also be offered, apart from Greek, in a foreign language (English and/or French), following the decision of the Special Inter-institutional Committee.

4. Part of the programme (up to 35%) can be offered via distance learning (law 4485/2017, article 30, par. 3).

5. In each of the first two semesters, the Programme of Studies includes three mandatory Modules, which correspond to 27 ECTS creditsin total, as well as one Colloquium, that corresponds to 3 ECTS credits.

6. The Programme of Studies is structured as follows:

1st semester

- Module 1. Values, Knowledge, Mission of Higher Education: Social and Historic Dimensions (9 ECTS credits)

- Module 2. Research Methodology (9 ECTS credits) (the Module includes an internship)

- Module 3. European Framework of Higher Education (9 ECTS credits)

- 1st Colloquium (3 ECTS credits)

2nd semester

- Module 4. Quality Assurance in Higher Education (9 CTS) (the Module includes an internship)

- Module 5. Governance and Management of Higher Education (9 ECTS credits) (the Modules includes an internship)

- Module 6. Greek Institutional Framework of Higher Education (9 ECTS credits) (the Modules includes an internship)

- 2ndColloquium (3 ECTS credits)

3rd semester

- Dissertation/Master’s Thesis (30 ECTS credits)
